Last week I was treated to an exquisite three course dinner at The Boulevard Hotel, joined by the company of Ben Chipman from Toomfoolery Wines. This casual, long table dinner was sold out and was the first Vino on the Verandah to kick off the season of #WineWednesdays. The wines were precisely paired with some delectable dishes showcased in their ultimate glory.
We were seduced by two varieties of wine for each course, equating to six glasses in total...definitely great value for money for a three course meal in Perth! I thoroughly enjoyed the 'Young Blood' Grenache, 2013, amongst them all. It's quite light on the pallet and easy to drink which is perfect way to start the night--don't want to go all in at once, after all.
