It's that time of the year, Semi-Permanent. This year, the event changed venue and it was held at Carriageworks in Eveleigh instead of the usual Darling Harbour exhibition centre. The dilapidated venue has unique character and hones in to the creative allusion that resonates with this event. I'll cross my fingers that next year will be held at this same location-- it has my tick of approval. The conference showcased an array of interesting speakers from all walks of life, encompassing passions of paint all the way to film making and pro-skateboarding. The highlight from the Friday program would have to be my all time favourite illustrator/artist/musician, Tara McPherson. She stole the limelight with her captivating personality and humility. Her style influenced my year twelve art major, I owed it to her to finally see her in the flesh. It was worth every cent to be inspired and to live and breathe everything design, even if it was only for a weekend.

What a wonderful guy, he's talented and funny-- a gentleman too. Scouting for some hipster street looks, I stumbled across her. Love this outfit, head to toe. I'm fully charged with creativity and ready to undertake anything new that can be thrown in my direction. Bring it on. Until next year, let's get creative and never forget to embrace failure.
What inspires you most? Don't be shy, I'd love to know!
