A Late Night at Ace Pizza

Sometimes you just want to eat a stack of pancakes before the wee hours of midnight, but alas pizza can always fill that void too.
Pizza is something that Australians take for granted because you can usually acquire one at a decent price; my friends in Singapore always get jealous at the miniature price tags of takeaway pizza compared to their homeland. It was late on Friday night that my blogger friends and I decided to have a late night feed at Ace Pizza, we were recommended the deep fried Mac and Cheese. How could I not be excited at the thought of gooey, cheesy goodness coated in breadcrumbs and fried to a golden crisp? Sold. It lived up to its name.
Above: Beets, walnuts and salted ricotta $16
P.R.E.A.M Pizza | north west prawns, lemon ricotta, spinach, san marano tomato and mozzarellas $25.

We shared a P.R.E.A.M pizza that was absolutely delicious in taste, the bread was made to perfection and finished the night on a sweet note of crème brulee donut and ace soft serve. The rich and creamy vanilla soft serve was served in a traditional waxed paper cup with two squeeze bottles, one was chocolate and the other was a decedent salted caramel sauce. Ace should sell this buy the bottle, it was THAT good. Thanks to the girls from Bitchez Who Brunch, this item is a hidden gem. The crème brulee donut was freshly baked light and airy, filled with a vanilla crème and caramelised in a shell of sugary sweetness. Late night donut fixes have a new venue.
