Karen Walker at La Perouse

With the hot days ahead on the East Coast it seems that the beach is top of mind for trying to keep cool. I've never been a huge water-loving person and always seem uninspired at the thought of sizzling on the sand like a melted ice-cream puddle. Moving from place to place has broadened my mind and made me more open to the idea of pursuing these somewhat Australian recreational activities. It was my first time exploring La Perouse, who knew that I had a hidden beach in such close proximity to my hood? Whilst gazing at all the beautiful sights, I protected my eyes from the harsh glaring sun with my beautiful new Karen Walker sunglasses. The blue foil tint and pigmented frames are bold in flavour and although I was hesitant at the thought of matching them to my wardrobe, I found it incredibly enjoyable and easy! A pop of colour shouldn't be feared, instead, embraced for all it's quirkiness and charm. Monotone isn't in my vocab, so why should my sunnies be any exception.

What sunnies are you rocking this Summer? Maybe it's time to invest in a statement style, start with experimenting with coloured frames and if you're feeling adventurous you can explore the plethora of shapes and sizes.
